Dear Team—
I understand you all just completed your gathering - I trust you’re as enthusiastic as I am with the good news. Previously I sent you all a update, I stated the following: “I believe in this team. You all are some of the most motivated and innovative designers we have had the chance to work with - and we’re looking forward for that partnership to endure.”
Through your commitment and flexibility, especially over the past twelve months, you consistently demonstrate that.
The gamer responses from last autumn’s the game playtest was revealing. It confirmed the promise of a roguelike shooter but told us we still had work to do. It uncovered the requirement for a sharper identity.
It’s been inspiring to see how far you’ve progressed. You accepted the criticism to consideration and revamped Project ETHOS with a renewed vision - one that’s poised to achieve its promise to our audience.
Our confidence in this project grows every day. To advance the remarkable development you’ve made, I’m excited to introduce Ben Brinkman as the incoming Director of 31st Union. Following several months of conversations, he officially joins us on Monday, October 20.
His guidance and experience in the PVP shooter space is vast, having devoted the past decade and a half creating and managing some of the most popular titles in gaming, such as the acclaimed shooter, and most recently, Apex Legends.
I invite you all in welcoming him soon. We are all eager to keep witnessing the evolution of the game in the months to follow.
David
